The libertarian party La Libertad Avanza (LLA) is finalizing preparations for a large-scale party congress in Mar del Plata, conceived as a demonstration of political force in the Buenos Aires province and an internal message about who controls the libertarian political bloc in the region.
The choice of Mar del Plata is no accident: it is one of the cities where libertarian growth was most notable and where the political build-up of Pareja seeks to consolidate its territorial anchorage. One of the main organizers is Mar del Plata's leader Alejandro Carrancio, an elected national deputy and an ascending figure within the space. The presence of Milei and Pareja at the event aims to consolidate the political leadership of the space in the country's most important district and to ratify the expansion achieved after the last elections.
Although the exact venue has not yet been confirmed, the congress will take place in the city of Mar del Plata, governed by Guillermo Montenegro until his assumption as a provincial senator for the alliance between La Libertad Avanza and the PRO. The national president of the space, Karina Milei, authorized provincial builder Sebastián Pareja to head the organization of the event, which will bring together leaders, lawmakers, and libertarian activists from across the province.
The meeting will be held on November 30 and will aim to bring together more than a thousand leaders from the space, including elected national deputies, provincial legislators, councilors, school councilors, and territorial coordinators.
In this context, the Mar del Plata congress will serve as a message both internally and externally: cohesion, order, and territorial deployment. This will strengthen their political project with an eye on competing for the governorship in 2027.
Despite internal tensions, the party seeks to transform the fragmented structure post-elections into an organized political machine that aspires to contest the political control of the country's main district in the next two years.
The November 30 congress is projected as the largest libertarian event of the year in the Buenos Aires territory. According to sources from the provincial political team, the objective is to "show the real power that the space has today," a phrase repeated by those working on the logistics of the event that summarizes the intention to display political muscle after a intense electoral year.
